PRAEY FOR THE GODS (EARLY ACCESS)

I was very interested in this game following its initial campaign on Kickstarter since it's obviously a Shadow of the Colossus clone and no other game has really tried following that style since. I hadn't backed the game on Kickstarter but had occasionally been keeping up with the development of it and once I saw it coming to Steam I thought I might as well give it a go.

To be blunt this game is not in a good state at all for numerous reasons and this initial release is a real disappointment for me. There is a prospect for a really great game here but it's very far off being realised and for that I cannot recommend it at all in its current state but am open to, and hoping to, change this opinion in the future when this game progresses further into development.

Now while this game has been marketed as a Shadow of the Colossus clone it also takes loads of inspiration from Breath of the Wild, which is pretty courageous considering both games have such critical acclaim. If you told me about a game that was basically a combination of those two games you'd have me on board right away. The problem is this game fails at imitating either very well, other than the terrible framerate both games originally had.

Originally Breath of the Wild was supposed to release in 2015 but got delayed twice due to problems with the physics engine. As you can tell this decision paid off big time considering the reviews that that game received with many praising the very area in which they made sure to polish and get right. Sadly this is one of the big problems with Praey for the Gods, the physics are just horrible. Gliding feels rigid and stiff, jumping and climbing are awkward, you can both get caught on and even taken for a ride into the sky by rubble blasted away by the bosses while worst of all attempting to even jump and grab onto a boss just doesn’t seem to work sometimes, a problem enhanced by bad input delay on controllers.

The AI of the bosses is very lacklustre, especially the third and fourth bosses. In the case of the third boss the whole concept is to lure it into charging at you before dodging out the way causing it to bash into a wall and stun itself, giving you a chance to climb on. I often had a problem with the refusal of the boss to charge at me sometimes. I didn’t think it could get any worse but then the fourth boss came along and made it so, having to bait him close enough to a platform where you would either be able to glide onto him or use your grappling hook to climb up however he either followed me to destroy the platform or lost interest and stood just far away enough so I couldn’t reach him.

This brings be to my next problem which are some of the questionable design decisions. The worst offender that comes to mind is that very fourth boss where the way to defeat him is by climbing up ruined platforms to be able to grab onto him, the problem however is that he can destroy every last one, meaning you have to restart if he does so which is pretty easy for him considering the reach he has. Another bewildering decision for me was the placement of some checkpoints, for example before the third boss you had to solve a brief puzzle to get to him however if you failed to beat him you would have to do the puzzle again every time. I don’t understand why the checkpoint wasn’t placed at the start of the boss, they even disabled saving so you couldn’t besides who wants so do the same puzzle over and over again when they’ve already figured it out?

The camera is also often a problem with is getting stuck inside bosses as well as on the environment and rubble from said bosses attacks.

These are probably the most pressing issues this game has, with a few other things that can probably be cleaned up with more polish, such as more iframes when dodging since there didn’t seem to be any, or the weird character model with those creepy arms and even hopefully some more story elements being just a few other things I’d like to list.

I know this review sounds pretty scathing and quite frankly to some extent it is, this game has caused me a lot of frustration but even with all of this said I can still see a lot of potential in this game. There are already some neat ideas here as well as a nice soundtrack. When it actually comes together, such as how the first boss mostly did, you can see this game being a lot of fun.

Unlike some other early access games where there is a clear lack of direction in which to go this game absolutely shows it at least has intentions of what it wants to become. The developers just need better execution with their ideas which is hopefully something we’ll see over the course of development. So while I am advising to avoid it for now, unless you're really desperate to support its development, I do think that this game is one to keep your eye on.

FALLOUT 76 REVIEW

A half baked, confused mess.

PC version reviewed.

Fallout 76 is a game published and developed by Bethesda Softworks for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Hampered by boggling design decisions I'm not sure I've played such a strange game with such little idea of what it's trying to be.

The Bethesda launcher made specifically for this game is pretty awful. From uninstalling the game for some people to claiming it needs to be installed despite already being on your system. This could have been avoided by launching on Steam, like all other Bethesda games however it seems most likely that Bethesda wanted to do it on their own to avoid paying Valve a 30% cut for sales. If their own launcher wasn't in such a sorry state maybe I wouldn't even have mentioned it but it is poor form.

GAMEPLAY
Lack of push to talk or text chat. I've heard the reason for the absence of these options was for immersion, because hearing the feedback of someones computer fans, keyboard or in game sound sure makes it seem more realistic. Why they couldn't have a text chat system via the Pip-boy is just a weird decision, you can see your own health and action points, one NPC even mentions how they can see what you're doing but a simple chat system from within the Pip-boy apparently isn't allowed.

No single player or private server option, even if you just play solo all the time however the bigger problem is that there is no server select or ability to select what kind of server you want to be on. Instead of having PvP servers, PvE servers or even role playing servers they are all just shoved into the same world without a choice. I can only assume Bethesda went this route because they wanted encounters with other players to be like DayZ or Rust where coming across another player can means you become friends or enemies.

With only 24 people on a server you may not even run across others that often and even when you do people won't bother attacking you because PvP is so heavily punished, only being effective if both players engage. Even if you do get defeated by another player all they can do is take your scrap and gain a bounty themselves. There is so little reason to partake in PvP that it fails in every way really, losing out on the possible tension from encounters like in other survival games and also just serving a purpose of slightly annoying players who just want to PvE. Why there are not servers dedicated to either type of play style is just a brainless idea.

Bizarrely, despite supposedly being about rebuilding the wasteland together this game actually lacks behind Fallout 4, with the size of any base you want to build dramatically reduced to essentially being able to build a small camp. I thought the whole end game would be designing massive settlements for you to both show and share with friends and other players, instead it's hardly worth the bother. The other major problem with base building is that bases are tied to the player who built them, so not only can friends only interact with them while you are on but if someone else joins the server and has their camp saved in the same place as yours the camp disappears. Just giving players some kind of alert, or not putting players with the same camp location on the same server would have been enough to mitigate this but instead in its current state it's a frustrating disaster.

Plenty of bugs that reek of Bethesda's lack of multiplayer experience. Most especially I can think of numerous quests where you are tasked with killing a certain creature only to arrive at the destination to find someone else has already killed it, meaning you have to server hop until you find a server where someone hasn't recently done it. Another massive problematic bug is where you have phantom weight, where you pick an item up and it's weight is added to your inventory however you cannot find or use the item. With already limited inventory space this is a really nasty and common bug.

Exploration, something I really loved piling up hundreds of hours worth of doing so in previous games is still a thing in 76. It's not nearly as good as 4 or Skyrim but is still serviceable. Most locations seem pretty dull and without the engaging stories and mysteries you would have seen in other Bethesda games made worse by if you take too many items your stash will be full meaning you just end up managing your inventory and with crafting requiring more materials than FO4 it really makes things frustrating and into a chore. Some locations do look cool though and can be interesting to snoop around or take in.

Gathering junk isn't nearly as fulfilling as it was in FO4 either, where I knew I was going to be able to repair weapons or build up one of my many settlements, however as mentioned things that required less to repair now cost more than in FO4, in fact with many weapons it actually costs more to repair than to craft a new one. The other major part of collecting junk is to build your camp, however with how easily destroyed or dismantled it is as well as how limited the building of it can be, usually just a small house, is so lacking in comparison to the massive settlements in FO4 that I not only question the point of it but am also left to wonder why it exists in this form. I assumed the end game would be building massive settlements to show and share with friends but that just isn't possible.

Talking of lacking in comparison to FO4, the combat also manages to achieve this. Plenty of hits you should be getting in miraculously don't hit your targets because of problems like server lag. Then even when you do hit some enemies the only challenge to them is how much of a bullet sponge they are anyway.

Mutations are something I'm surprised hadn't been in Fallout before, deciding whether you want the benefits of some of them in spite of the fall backs is a nice addition. There's a lot of potential to take this idea further too I feel, where you could end up mutating into a Ghoul or a Super Mutant with enough of the correct mutations.

STORY
Quests as a whole are almost all dull, relying on just going between terminals or listening to holotapes that don't seem to play properly when you pick them up, instead just making a static noise, meaning you have to go into your inventory, stop them playing and then restart them so they actually start the content, rather than just whirring. You don't have to do that in Fallout 4, so hopefully it's a bug because if that is a genuine design choice I can't even fathom the thinking behind it. Anyway, if you're not listening to holotapes you're doing some laborious mission going from A to B, picking up bottles, repairing things or at best shooting things that require such little effort it doesn't feel very different. There's just so little in the way of encouraging you to actually get engaged.

The whole narrative is done in the breadcrumb style where you're left piecing together what happened, in this case it is almost always the Scorch with a small chance of Raiders, who by the way are all dead now anyway. The only interaction you have with NPCs might as well just be terminals or holotapes anyway because all they do is relay quest info to you. You're never given the option to question the motives of those who give you missions and you'll never come across choices like in previous Bethesda games where you find out you may be working for the wrong side, or your target has a reasonable story. You're always just expected to go along and do whatever monotonous task you've been told.

This kind of breadcrumb story can be done well, just look at games like Bloodborne that have minimum interactions with NPCs and share a lot of story through notes, the environment or small titbits from other characters.

Being able to join any faction at the same time is such wasted potential. You can be a part of both the Brotherhood of Steel and the Enclave, despite them being major enemies. Imagine if PvP was actually based on faction, so you would only be able to battle people in opposing factions, meeting other players could still have that tension from other survival games while not being the mess it is in this one. You could not represent any faction and be safe from the Brotherhood of Steel but if you're in the Enclave then war will ensure between you both.

GRAPHICS
A lot of performance issues, easy to dip below 30 FPS, some very rough textures in places, not sure if it was just something on my end but some items and clothing actually looked worse than their Fallout 4 counterparts.

The world itself does look decent as well as the lighting, especially in the mire zone. The actual map itself is probably an upgrade on any game in the series before it. It's just a shame that it is so lacking in content, life or activity.

Some of the monster designs are actually kind of interesting but are ruined by the absolutely woeful AI. I know Bethesda games have never been acclaimed for good AI but it really is bad in 76. If they aren't snapping into position within one frame or hiding in front of trees attempting to take cover they're running off or just standing still because they either can't hit you or just can't figure out how to.

SOUND
The soundtrack is decent, about the same quality as the previous games in the series.

VALUE FOR MONEY
Outrageous launch price, should have been at least around half the price it was to start with. Having a fully functioning micro transaction store on top is a bit insulting, even if it is just cosmetics.

OVERALL
The best way to sum up Fallout 76 is that it lacks any real identity or direction. It just doesn't know what it wants to be. I've heard people asking the question of who this game is for and I think the answer is Bethesda themselves. They had so many ideas on what to do with this game and just threw them all in and sent it out to see what people would think because it's basically one big experiment. If it wants a successful future I feel it will probably be shaped by the community because Bethesda don't really seem to know what they wanted to do with this game expect test things out.

Despite being a big Bethesda fan the sad reality is that this game isn't very good. It has a few interesting ideas at best but needs serious work to be considered even decent. In its current form I cannot recommend it.

RED DEAD REDEMPTION II REVIEW

Red Dead Revolution.

PS4 version reviewed.

Red Dead Redemption II is an action adventure game published and developed by Rockstar Games for the Xbox One and Playstation 4.

GAMEPLAY
Probably one of the very best open worlds ever created that is both fun and stunning to traverse. There are some incredible details added in such as things actually changing over time such as dead animals decaying where they were slain to building being built. Some NPCs can come back from being shot in the leg, with a wooden replacement and even animals such as deer can end up getting their horns stuck on each other. These are just a few of hundreds of tiny, incredible attentions to detail that make the in game world feel so alive.

STORY
A really strong narrative that doesn't fall for the problems plenty of prequels do. Sure we know that John, Dutch and a few other gang members make it through the game but seeing the whole gang in action and watching it all begin to fall apart and witness how those who survived started to change into the characters we knew from Red Dead Redemption was very interesting and some of the development seemed well done too, Dutch being a big one of the highlights.

GRAPHICS
Some of the best around, the world looks stunning and as per usual Rockstar deliver some of the very best lighting around. One small problem I did have though was how quickly day and night could change, you'd even see the sunlight rapidly shoot in sometimes. It's not really a major problem, and all the different forms of weather do look fantastic but when you consider just how amazing Rockstar usually are with this stuff, just look at GTA V, it was a little jarring to see such sudden transitions.

SOUND
Another really fantastic soundtrack to follow up that of the original. Maybe there isn't quite a moment as hard hitting as when you arrive in Mexico from the original but there are still plenty of nice moments for songs and of course the main soundtrack, which has a few nice callbacks to the original at really appropiate times, just paying homage at just the right time, rather than going overboard with connecting itself to the original.

The general sound effects were very impressive too, from hearing the echos of gun fire resounding round the mountains to being able to track some animals from simply hearing them roar in the distance.

VALUE FOR MONEY
Around 60 hours to beat the story line, not even including all the side missions and exploration of the map. With all of it being such a high quality experience there's no question you will get your money's worth.

OVERALL
Just like it's predecessor Red Dead Redemption II is another masterfully crafted game that will go down as one of the best ever made. It's one of those games that is just a joy to play and is one of my favourite games of all time. I would highly recommend playing it.

DARK SOULS REMASTERED

Rekindled.

PC version reviewed.

Dark Souls Remastered is a RPG published by Bandai Namco, developed by FromSoftware and remastered by QLOC for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

DIFFERENCES FROM ORIGINAL
60fps and runs much more smoothly than originally, especially the PC version. Better lighting and some textures.

A few quality of life features such as easier access to one of the blacksmiths, ability to change covenant at a bonfire and a few more minor things such as both bells of awakening ringing when activated by other players.

Improved online with dedicated servers and password matchmaking that removes the barrier for higher and lower level friends to cooperate by nerfing the higher level players like in Dark Souls 3 and of course just makes it easier to find a friend rather than going through the trial and error of the original.

OVERALL
While I would say it is the definitive version of the game I still feel there could have had a few more improvements, such as better anti-cheat measures and a few other minor things including the price, I mean the Skyrim Special Edition had similar upgrades to this but was free for PC users. I'm not saying they had to give it away for free too but maybe an even bigger discount would have been nice. Overall though it is still worth picking up if you enjoyed the Dark Souls series or have yet to give it a go.

Fe felt like a game that seemed to think it was more special than it was. Just because you have stylised graphics doesn't make you special at all and the ending that seemed to believe the player would be so absorbed by the whole thing come the end made it fall flat all the harder instead.

SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS (2018) REVIEW

A colossal recreation.

PS4 exclusive.

Shadow of the Colossus is an action adventure game published by Sony, developed by Team Ico and remastered by Bluepoint Games for the Playstation 4.

DIFFERENCES FROM ORIGINAL
Overhauled graphics look fantastic. Usually with remastered games it would be a case of thinking that it's pretty cool that it looks better but little more than that however for a game that relies on portraying so much to you through the world and atmosphere this is a massive difference and major improvement.

No more FPS problems that the original had.

A couple of small new things, such as new collectable coins, New Game+, a stats page, photo mode and Easter eggs.

OVERALL
This is probably the definitive version of one of the best games of all time. If you've ever had a PS2, PS3 or PS4 and somehow haven't played this game before then now is probably the best time ever with a remaster that must be one of the best around, just as the original game was when it first came out. For veteran players the minimalist world looks more beautiful and alluring than ever before and at a lower priced release than most games these days there's little excuse not to experience this wonderful game again.

AWARDS SEASON: BEST GAME OF THE YEAR 2017

Overall winner

Horizon Zero Dawn

I went into this game knowing little more than the fact it had robot dinosaurs in, something that would surely sell most people on a game. Surprise surprise, with such as premise it was fun to play but it wasn't just a fun game to play as it had an excellent world built upon many technical feats as well as a compelling, engaging story with nice world building and a great soundtrack. It may not have been the most original game in many aspects but everything it did it did so very well.

Full review: https://theunorthodoxnetwork.blogspot.co.uk/2017/02/horizon-zero-dawn-review.html

Honourable mentions

Ōkami HD

In my opinion Ōkami is the greatest game of all time. It just does everything so brilliantly well from the really fun gameplay to the beautiful art style and the masterfully done soundtrack. Playing the game in HD at higher resolutions was amazing, it's incredible how fantastically the game still holds up and might just be one of those games that is timeless. However I still wouldn't call it the definitive version because the credits song "Reset" was missing. Regardless seeing this game on the Playstation 4, Xbox One and especially the PC was a dream come true.

This game would be my game of the year for 2017 but I don't give remasters the award. I did however give the original top marks and my game of the year for 2006, as well as it being my favourite game ever made. Now we just need to hope that PlatinumGames can make a sequel one day with Hideki Kamiya directing again.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice

Whilst the gameplay was pretty basic and even at times too repetitive I admire the effort to shed light on psychosis, a topic rarely covered at all by TV or movies, let alone games. The story was good and Senua was a really great character because whilst she was determined she clearly wasn't unstoppable and reacted to things when they went wrong, rather than just shrugging it off. The way the game made you suffer with her was pretty distressing and challenging as well which is exactly what it was aiming for. She actually felt human, something many games fail to capture.

ŌKAMI HD REVIEW

Reincarnated.

PC version reviewed.

Ōkami HD is an action adventure game published by Capcom, developed by Clover Studios and remastered by HexaDrive for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

DIFFERENCES FROM ORIGINAL
HD, 4K support, higher resolutions and cleaner visuals. Surely better than the Wii or PS3 port in terms of gameplay as I didn't come across the supposed crashes of the Wii version and the loading screen mini-games have been added again after being removed from the PS3 version. I'm not really sure why they were removed but they're a welcome return as they make it feel even closer to the original.

End credits song "Reset" removed. Credits extended to include remaster staff and the Clover Studios staff have also been reintegrated into the credits after being absent from the PS3 version. What Capcom were thinking when they removed them is a mystery but it's nice to have them back.

OVERALL
There are no major drawbacks with this remaster although the removal of the fantastic end credits song is a shame. The visual improvements are nice and it's fantastically priced at less than half of what most AAA games release at these days. If you've never played this game before I would absolutely recommend it and if you have then now is a great time to pick it up again and experience this masterpiece once more with it looking better than ever before.

MIDDLE-EARTH: SHADOW OF WAR REVIEW

Bigger and better.

PC version reviewed.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is an action adventure game published by WB Games and developed by Monolith Productions for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.

This review has spoilers!

GAMEPLAY
The forts are the highlight of the excellent improvements over the first game.

Sadly the online aspect is a bit squandered, especially at higher levels, where a lot of the fortresses have been hacked to house orcs that are over-levelled or have ridiculous amounts of immunities. Pile the hacking problems with bugs, such as your allied captains not actually showing up to the siege with you and it becomes clear that some updates are required for this part of the game.

The overhauled nemesis system is even more in depth than before. There are a bigger variety for orcs cheating death or gaining scars, betrayals bring about a new dynamic and can show you who your real allies are, having orc followers, being saved by an ally or orcs unexpectedly ambushing nemesis missions can change your approach or the outcome, there are plenty of new and expanded things that are great.

Orc characters fixed into the story going into the nemesis system after their major role finished was cool too, although not all of them do which is a shame.

The crates are a frustrating addition due to it being a single player game. I personally felt they were rather pointless as aside from the training orders you could get everything else without having to go through these boxes and it was far more fun to play the game and find orcs in the maps. Even if the inclusion is annoying, at least it is possible to open them without spending real money as you can earn the currency required through in-game challenges (As of July 2018 the micro-transactions have been removed from the game and you can just buy training orders instead with an easy to earn in-game currency).

I can understand why some people disliked the Shadow Wars of Act IV as perhaps they could have spread the fortress defences more so throughout the story, instead of having them all at the end, aside from just one in the previous three acts. However I thought the fortress defences were pretty fun and much more challenging than actually having to attack them (Again, as of July 2018 the Shadow Wars have been made much shorter and instead if you want to play more of the fort content you have the ability to play endless siege).

I disagree with people claiming you need the crates to complete it, there are numerous ways to level up orcs and if anything defending your fort with allies who have been at your side for a long time seems far more appealing to me than just pulling a few out of crates. One great example was a defence in which I wasn't doing great, an enemy captain was about to take Talion down and Skun the Bitter, one of my longest serving and best orcs, saved Talion and the fort along with him, only for me to realise after the battle that Skun had gone down. It was bittersweet, as the fort had withstood the attack, but one of my favourite orcs hadn't made it through.

It is possible to pull orcs from crates and create these dynamics with them but Skun had shown up far earlier for me in the pits, he was a higher level than Talion, had great stats and had been a pain for a while, having to avoid him, before I eventually managed to shame him with the help of other captains, and then managed to recruit him later on.

Gear has been completely overhauled and massively improved from the previous game where there were about six different weapons, two for each of the main ones, and the only way to really customise Talion was with skins. There are numerous sets to collect now to customise weapons and armour as well as some new weapons and abilities such as the glaive, throw-able hammer and being able to resurrect dead orcs.

Mounts and beasts have also seen a lot of positive changes. Caragors are much more effective with the longer reaching glaive to hit enemies with, graugs are still devastating but are now much more mobile, being able to scale things, sprint around as well as there are even elemental graugs with ranged attacks, whilst drakes are really fun to use and bring mayhem upon enemies as aerial support or even just to fly over mountains with the awesomely fun ability to ride them, not to mention stealthy players will probably enjoy using spiders to help them quietly pick off enemies.

Something I was critical on the first game on was, despite being set in Middle-earth they never really captured the grand, epic and wondrous feeling that it should do. It's one of the things the books and movies are so renowned for, and whilst this game did feel a bit better than the last in that regard, it still falls short of selling its backdrop of Middle-earth. The maps just don't generate the excitement they could and the world just doesn't feel that great outside of the orcs and nemesis system.

STORY
Bigger scale than the previous game but still not up to much. The best parts of the story are really with the orcs and the nemesis system instead.

Really messes around with some of the Middle-Earth lore. I shall go into spoilers here just to explain why so much of these changes are terrible. First of all, Shelob for some reason now has powers to rival the Witch-king or Sauron, such as randomly being able to abduct Celebrimbor with a shroud of smoke for no reason at all other then to bring her into the story, and more importantly she has visions of the future. In this future she sees Celebrimbor defeating Sauron and basically becoming as bad as him afterwards, so she helps divide Talion and Celebrimbor, leading to Celebrimbor not defeating Sauron, however she still wants Sauron to be defeated, just not have another like him to replace him.

The thing is, if she wanted Sauron to lose so badly too, which they hammer home in her flashback side quests, why does she then attack Frodo in the Lord of the Rings, almost giving the one ring to Sauron and ensuring that he would win? Not to mention Shelob is left alone in LotR because she prevents people from getting into Mordor, yet if she is as opposing of Sauron as she is in this game, why does Sauron leave her alone? Surely he wouldn't want her planning against him? It's a real mess.

That's not the only silly plot point though. The Ringwraiths have been messed around too, they explain that they pass on their rings, which is why some characters who don't line up with the timeline have actually become Nazgul. Silly and seemingly pointless, but that stuff is there to set up the worst part. Remember how it is explicitly stated in the lore of the LotR that the Ringwraiths were all kings of men? Well someone who is not a king of men ends up becoming a Nazgul by the end.

The first act is really poor and is basically a tutorial to the game without the actual main draw of the game in dominating orcs. You just spend two hours with a dire cast of characters being absolutely handheld and following the woeful story. Eventually once you get past it the real game begins and you begin dominating orcs, building an army and taking forts but I really do wonder what they were thinking with such a boring prolonged tutorial.

That's the end of my spoiler heavy rant about some of the messed up Middle-earth lore. It's not actually a huge deal since I doubt too many people came into the game expecting a masterclass in story telling, especially considering the previous game. It's just a shame that despite the numerous other improvements to the game this area still fell flat. The characters are still dull and boring too with little character depth, development or personality to them and the story really is clumsy.

GRAPHICS
They are fine but don't really feel like much of a progression from Shadow of Mordor.

SOUND
Out of all the people who could have voiced an orc I'm not sure why they got Kumail Nanjiani to voice one. I know it's supposed to funny but his voice doesn't suit an orc at all and sticks out like a sore thumb. Surely there were other names they could have got to do it who would have fit the role better.

Soundtrack itself is fine, but nothing special, like the first game. I feel both soundtracks are of the ilk where they're not bad but not too memorable either and mostly just serve to round off the experience instead of hugely enhancing it or anything. That said, the end credits song "Fires of War" was pretty cool.

OVERALL
A lacklustre story and a few more minor points drag the game down a little but in general the game still has much to offer. The overhauled nemesis system is a treat and there is a lot of fun to be had with new features such as the fortresses, drakes and additional abilities to create an interesting world to spend many hours in. Shadow of War might not be a perfect game but it sure is a fun one.
